A new era, without Azeroth to interfere with my building...

Spectacular decision beginning of this month.
My 7.5 year old PC, can't cope with my favourite computer game anymore.Dungeons, raids and instances are half or completely over before my PC has even loaded the thing. Movement in major cities at prime gaming time are almost impossible. My character seem to be break-dancing instead of fighting at times. All of this to a level where it was just not fun anymore.
Add to this the many changes in game mechanics and the ever thinner, repetitive content an we arrive at a turning point. Or I splash the cash and buy a new gaming-PC for around 1000 to 1500 euro, or I just quit World of Warcraft and concentrate on my neglected hobby.

I am glad to announce that the latter won. It is goodbye to orcs and the horde. It is retirement from the Alliance. This Dwarf has fought his last battle.

This not only saves me the money of buying a new high performance PC, it also grants me more time to return to my bench and finish all the shelved projects that are waiting there for me. (not to speak of a stash the size of the cave of Ali Baba).

I repeated over and over that I'm not the most gifted modeler. I am still not, but practice makes perfect and get better at it, I will! (Sounds oddly like Yoda)

Tomorrow a new era will start. This time it is not a promise.... this time it is for real.
Watch this blog for proof   ;-)
