After trying to show what i'm doing on a couple of personal Facebook pages, I was never fully happy with the result, so here I am returning to Blogger, to a product I know, hoping to create a page that is to my liking.
Who am I... I'm Lieven. I live in St.Truiden - Belgium and in the little spare time I have, I try to build plastic scale models.
Now I know I'm not one of the scale model gods you find on Facebook and the www. I lack the talent and the skills to be one of the aces. For me building models was something I enjoyed doing as a child and about 5 years ago, I decided to pick up the hobby again.
I mostly dabble with 1/48 airplanes from the WWII era, most of them German. Reading and looking to other modellers has sparked the dark side again, and of late I'm slowly adding armour kits to the stash again; 1/35 scale kits of WWII era tanks and AFV's, again mostly German stuff.
